Text: Introduction to Electrodynamics, 3rd Edition, by David J. Griffiths. This and other possibly useful texts will be placed on reserve at the Undergraduate Library.

Course Times : MWF 11:00-10:50am, SOLIS 111. Or MWF 12-12:50, SOLIS 111.

Homework: Assigned weekly, due FRIDAY, at the START of lecture. Will also be accepted at the following lecture, but with a 20% penalty. Problems marked with * are also recommend, but not to be turned in.

Midterm: Fri. Feb 6, during the lecture time. Bring bluebook; formula sheet will be provided. Midterm scores (40 max, 10 points/problem): mean = 22.10, stdev = 9.95. Top score = 40/40.

Final: Wednesday March 17 OR Thursday, March 18, 11:30-2:30. Bring bluebooks. Final exam scores (100 max, 10 points/problem): mean=63.6, stdev=21, Top score = 99.5.

Grading: Homework=20%, Midterm =30%, Final=50%.
